2G Interiors Limited Terms of Trade

1. Introduction

These Terms of Trade ("Terms") govern your use of the painting services provided by 2G Interiors Limited (hereinafter called ‘the Company’), a New Zealand registered company, with its principal place of business located at 89 Nazareth, Middleton, Christchurch, New Zealand. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before using our services.

2. Scope of Services

2.1. The Company provides professional painting and plastering services for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Services include but are not limited to:

  • Interior and exterior painting

  • Surface preparation, including cleaning, sanding, and priming

  • Application of paint, stains, and finishes

  • Minor repairs, such as patching holes and caulking

2.2. All services will be performed by skilled professionals employed by the Company or subcontracted by the Company.

3. Estimates and Quotes

3.1. Estimates provided by the Company are based on the information provided by the client and are subject to change based on on-site evaluations and any unforeseen circumstances.

3.2. Quotes provided by the Company are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issuance. The final cost of the project will be communicated to the client before work commences.

4. Payment

4.1. Payment terms will be agreed upon between the Company and the client before the commencement of any work.

4.2. Payment is due upon completion of the project unless otherwise specified in writing. The Company reserves the right to charge interest on late payments.

4.3. Payments can be made via bank transfer as agreed upon between the parties.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

5.1. Cancellations or rescheduling of appointments must be communicated to the Company at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee.

5.2. The Company reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to inclement weather, unforeseen circumstances, or other factors beyond our control.

6. Client Responsibilities

6.1. Clients are responsible for providing access to the premises at the scheduled time and ensuring that the area to be painted is clear of obstacles and personal belongings.

6.2. The client agrees to disclose any hazardous materials or conditions present on the premises that may affect the safety of our employees or subcontractors.

7. Warranty

7.1. The Company warrants that all work performed will be of professional quality and completed in accordance with industry standards.

7.2. We offer a [length of warranty] warranty on all completed projects, covering defects in workmanship and materials. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damage caused by third parties, or failure to follow proper maintenance procedures.

8. Liability

8.1. The Company carries liability insurance to protect against accidental damage or injury that may occur during the course of our work.

8.2. However, the client is responsible for notifying their insurance provider of any work being done on their property and obtaining any necessary permits or approvals.

9. Termination of Services

9.1. The Company reserves the right to terminate services if the client violates these Terms or engages in behavior that is deemed abusive or unsafe towards our employees or subcontractors.

9.2. In the event of termination, the client will be responsible for payment for all work completed up to the termination date.

10. Governing Law

10.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through arbitration in New Zealand.

11. Changes to Terms

11.1. The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
